The Sight Foundation Theatre is a not for profit subsidiary of the Sight For   Life Foundation specialising in providing ophthalmic day surgery services.   Revenue from the day surgery supports the eye care needs of the community and   the research activities of the Sydney Eye Hospital and Save Sight Institute.                 

The Sight Foundation  Theatre was first licensed by NSW Health in August 2008 to care for  both adults and children and is fully ISO9001 accredited

The  theatre is equipped for a vast range of ophthalmic procedures  including:  

  • cataract surgery
  • glaucoma  surgery
  • corneal surgery  including transplants
  • oculoplastics and  eyelid surgery
  • pterygium removal
  • tear duct surgery  (dacryocytorhinstomy)
  • pediatric  procedures
