Dr Sehu completed ophthalmic training at Sydney Eye Hospital (SEH) and Childrens' Hospital Westmead and  a Clinical Fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery and Ocular Oncology in Scotland. He subsequently authored a published textbook on pathology and a manual on management of ocular emergencies, published by the NSW Department of Health. He is a Clinical Lecturer with the Department of Ophthalmology, University of Sydney, and teaches ophthalmic trainees at SEH. He also performs volunteer ophthalmic work in developing countries.
