Used by office and emergency room diagnosis and treatment of eye disease. The Statewide Ophthalmology Service (SOS) proposed this manual and asked Dr Weng Sehu to develop it as the principal author. These guidelines are published in the Eye Emergency Manual.
The Eye Emergency Manual is primarily for use by non ophthalmic clinicians in Emergency Departments, throughout New South Wales and numerous other emergency departments around Australia. The manual is now also the standard ophthalmic text for most medical schools in NSW.

Dr Sehu writes in a monthly column entitled "In Focus" for the Australian Doctor publication presenting common eye and oculoplastic conditions. The purpose of the articles is to promote awareness and education of common presenting ophthalmic conditions.
